Who We Are and What We Do
Lumentpixel is a chatbot development studio founded in Kakamega in 2019 by a team of conversational AI specialists who had watched too many Western Kenya businesses lose good customers simply because no one was available to respond at the right moment. We design, build, and maintain intelligent chatbots for businesses across Kenya — primarily in the healthcare, property, financial services, retail, and professional services sectors. Our clients range from single-practitioner clinics in Kakamega to multi-branch property agencies in Nairobi and Kisumu. We focus exclusively on the chatbot and conversational AI layer: we do not offer website design, paid media, or SEO services, and that focus is deliberate. Specialisation is what allows us to deliver bots that genuinely perform rather than bots that merely look functional. Since 2019 we have completed more than 80 chatbot projects and currently manage active deployments for over 45 businesses across eight counties.
How We Work and What You Should Expect
Our process begins with a structured discovery session — a candid conversation about your customer journey, your team's capacity, and the specific moments in your pipeline where enquiries stall or disappear. From that session we produce a conversation flow diagram and a plain-language specification that you review and approve before we write a single line of configuration. We build in iterative sprints, testing each flow against realistic dialogue scenarios before deployment. Once live, every bot we manage receives a weekly performance report covering conversation volume, drop-off points, lead conversion rate, and any unanswered questions that signal a gap in the knowledge base. We update the knowledge base monthly as standard and conduct a strategic review call every quarter. One honest limit: chatbot performance depends partly on your team following up on the leads and callbacks the bot generates. A bot that captures 50 qualified leads per week delivers full value only when your sales team engages those leads within 24 hours. We will advise you on internal processes, but we cannot control how quickly your team acts. Our role is to fill the top of the funnel consistently and efficiently — converting those leads into revenue is a shared responsibility.
